Audubon Society says birds are shifting northward link

America's birds are on the move -- and they're heading north, according to a new report by the Audubon Society titled "Birds and Climate Change: Ecological Disruption in Motion." Nearly 60% of the 305 species found in North America are on the move, shifting their ranges northward by about an average of 35 miles. The findings provide new and powerful evidence that global warming is having a serious impact on natural systems.
