Visit
www.earthday.org/
. A great place to learn about events, and what the EPA is currently doing.
All Earth Day talk can go in this thread.
Personally, I am volunteering in a local school cleanup and watershed repair program.

Earth Day is tomorrow as we all well know; what are some ways that you are going more "green"?

Has anyone seen this Oscar nominated documentary or read the book (edited by Karl Weber)? An essential read about the state of today's agriculture and impact on the environment.
Opinions?

But, with these recent climatic events being of catastrophic proportions, do you think that there will be more disasters of this magnitude in the near future?

"President Barack Obama returned to Iowa on Wednesday, using Earth Day and a wind industry factory to declare "a new era of energy exploration in America" that creates jobs and cleans up the environment."
Thoughts on Obama's new promises and strategy on Earth Day?
